3 weeks

On Saturday, August 10 we went to Davis' work party.  They had a barbecue lunch, prizes, carnival games, bounce houses, all you can eat snow cones, sodas and cotton candy, face painting, little train rides, mini golf

.  It was hot but fun.  I spent most of the day in the shade with Emmerson.  Davis took the kids to all the activities.
The train broke soon after their ride was over.  I was happy it was after because Warren and Bennett really wanted to ride the train.  It was the first thing they asked about.

Ady got a vampire face.
Bennett was proud of his lion face and Matt was a zombie.

This little cutie it 3 weeks old and a morning person.  She smiles a lot in the morning and I was finally able to get it on camera.  It makes my heart happy to see her smile like this.
This is about 2 weeks old.  She is definitely a 6 child.  She does not like to be left alone (cries if she can't see someone...prefers that someone to be Mom.)  She also cries if she is put down for very long (by Mom)  We are working on it but I can't stand her little cry and I enjoy holding her.  I can't get enough of this little girl.

Emmerson Kiersti

Baby Emme came July 21, 2013.  We decided to be induced since she wasn't coming on her own.  I'm glad we did because I don't think she would've come anytime soon without my water being broken.  I labored for 4 hours and didn't do anything.  Dr broke my water and I went from a 5 to a 10 in 10 minutes.  It was intense.  She weighed in at 7 lbs even (that's what Adylin weighed.) 19.5 inches.  She is perfect in every way.  The kids love her and are still happy to hold her and talk to her.  They hate when she cries and Warren gets upset when she is fussy.  He is always trying to give her a binkie.

My friend came and took some pictures the next day.  They turned out super cute and the kids were excited to get their pictures taken.  Ady loves her so much.  She's had a cold and it's been terrible she can't hold her.  She is finally feeling better and all is right in the world.  LOL

This little guy loves his baby.  He is so happy and excited.  I have so many pictures of him smiling while holding her.  The novelty still hasn't worn off.  He now reads books to her and talks to her all the time.
Ady and I painted our nails just before I had Emme so we needed Emme's toes to match ours!

My friend Kaylene came to the birth.  So did Ady.  She was super helpful explaining things to Ady.  I think it was a great experience.  Ady loved everything but cutting the cord, she refused to do that....chicken!!!

First photo!  This is who was there when Emme arrived.  Look at that proud sister!
My nephew Seth was visiting my parents and he was in love.  He came over after we got home and held her for a bit.  I think he would've held her all day.

We survived!!!!

Saturday was a very special day for our family.  Especially Adylin!!!!!
She has been looking forward to this day for a while now.  It turned out fabulous but I slacked in the picture department.  It was a busy day.
This is Ady's favorite little buddy Everly.  These two are two peas in a pod.  Super sweet, fun and at times "a handful".
This is one of Ady's favorite people.  I think she's had a crush on him for as long as I can remember.  She was so excited that he was able to speak at her baptism before he leaves on him mission.  He did a fabulous job!!!  We love you Cousin Zach!!!!
We were super happy that this great guy stepped in at the last moment to give our second talk.  Ady's first choice was Uncle Alex but he got a terrible migraine that morning and just couldn't function.  We are so happy Uncle Scott was able to fill in.  He did a fabulous job!  We are so lucky to have the best Uncles ever!!!!
The last set of great grandparents!  We fill blessed to have them here with us.  Ady really likes this Grandpa.  She asks all the time when we're going to go visit them.  We need to start mowing their lawn again this summer so we can go play and visit every other week.
This is another one of Ady's crushes.  She specifically asked to take an invite to him.  She has known this sweet boy from the moment we brought her home.  He would hold and snuggle her at church most Sundays.  They have a very special bond.  I thought she would forget about him when our ward changed, but she would seek him out at school most days.  This last year he went to Jr High and I for sure thought she would forget about him but Nope!!!she still seeks him out whenever she can.
Ah we love our Aunt Kristy!  She's the reason why we have our handsome Zach!!!!  I'm so glad I got a few pictures before they had to leave.
Aunt Louise and Uncle John are like Grandparents!  This little girl has so many people that love her so much.  We were so happy they could come and join in this special day.
I didn't get any pictures at the luncheon, though it turned out great.  I"m pretty bummed I didn't get pictures for Aunt Mindy.  We were sad she couldn't make it.  After everything was cleaned up I realized we didn't have a picture of Ady in her dress!!!  So my friend was very nice and took a few pictures.  The boys were in the car at this point....Warren was sooooo done.  He fell asleep the second we got home.  I love this sweet girl so much.  She really has been a joy in our family.  She has taught me many lessons and I'm sure there are many more to come.  We definitely have our ups and downs but we are working on trying to have more ups!!!  She is super excited to meet her sister.  We are so happy baby Emme didn't come today. :)  She can come now!!!!!
Davis loves this little girl so very much.  They definitely have a great Daddy Daughter relationship.  She'll choose Daddy over anyone any day!  We are so lucky to have a Daddy that can baptize us!!!  This truly was such a special day.  Ady got a little emotional while we sang "When I am baptized".  I was trying so hard to hold it together until I saw her trying to keep the tears back.  She is such a sweet and sensitive little girl.  She was sad her friends couldn't make it.  She is a little missionary and invited a few little girls in the ward that don't come to church often.  She wanted so much for them to see what an amazing thing being baptized is.  I'm sure she will continue to touch their hearts in so many ways.
To finish off the weekend, on Sunday Tanner received the priesthood.  I once again slacked in the picture department.  Maybe next week I can snag a picture of him in his nice new suit.  We are so proud of both of our kids and the choices they are making.  This weekend was the highlight of being a parent.  It makes all those difficult moments worth it.  I'm so glad to have gotten through this weekend without any hiccups (baby coming.)  We are now very ready for her to come.  The kids are getting super excited!  I'm officially pregnant the longest.  But then again we don't have a great due date to go off.  Right now my DR is going off the 23 of July which puts me at almost 39 weeks but the ultrasounds I have weekly put me closer to my July 29th date which now puts me at 38 weeks.  I have never passed the 37 week mark!  Surprisingly I am still content with being pregnant.  My dr offered to induce tomorrow the 16th but I didn't feel right about it.  He really doesn't want me going past the 23 so I'm sure we will talk induction at my appt this Thursday.  I guess we'll see how I feel about it then. :)  He is convinced I will be begging him to induce.  LOL

A quick random photo update.

Tanner was in the school play of Little Mermaid.  He had the role of Grimsby and did a great job.  He loves this sort of stuff and we were excited he got a lead role.   I was a bit nervous, the day before his first performance he came home sick and threw up all night long.  I was super worried about it but he woke up feeling great! Phew.  I went to his first performance during the day.  It was a little frustrating, after I got there I felt super sick and light headed.  I ended up passing out before the thing even started.  Lucky for me only a few people realized what happened.  I was able to sit through the rest of the play and then spent 5 or so hours at the hospital making sure everything with me and baby were okay.  Great job Tanner, you rocked Grimsby!!!!!!

We've had a few birthdays at our house.  This year we thought it would be fun to take the kids to dinner with just mom and dad for their birthdays.  We needed to cut back on spending and thought they were old enough to do something simple yet get one on one time.  Thankfully Matt's was first and we learned real quick that he's not quite old enough to "skip" his birthday.  At dinner he asked about his cake and a party and presents.  We tried to explain that we were just doing dinner and the look on his face was super sad.  So on the way home we got a cake and the next day he got to go to the store and choose a gift.

In April, my mom, Ady, Bennett, Warren and I took a trip to CO to see some friends.  It was fun but exhausting.  Too long of a drive for a poor pregnant woman.  Ady had the best time.  She loves Aiden and they get along super well.  She got to go to her first Baseball game and said it was the best thing EVER!!!!!
The BIG 8!!!  Ady has been wanting her ears pierced for a little while now.  We decided 8 would be a great age so on her birthday (nice it landed on a Saturday) Davis and I took her to get her ears pierced.  She loved it and was great.  I worried a little about it but she sure showed me.  We were in and out of there with no troubles.

She was good about letting us just make a boxed cake. She also got a bike from Grandma and Poppie and we got her a new scooter since hers had broken.

This handsome boy graduated from High School.  This is my cousins oldest boy Zach.  Ady is in love with him and thinks he is the best thing in the world.  She wants to marry him one day.  We are super sad and happy to see this great young man leave for his mission in a few months.  Ady is super luck that he will be here for her baptism and has agreed to give a talk.  When I asked her who she wanted to give talks at her baptism she was convinced that it had to be Zach and uncle Alex.  Hopefully we can get the 2nd one to confirm. :)

This is my "bug" he loves to snuggle with me and he is super great with his baby doll.  Lately I have found him like this.  Don't worry he's not always sweet with his doll and there are times that I worry about him and the new baby.  We hope for more moments like this, than the ones I am imagining.  LOL

Adylin is 8!!!

This spunky thing has turned 8.  I know I should post after her baptism, but there is a good chance that might not happen in a timely manner, given the fact that my blog has suffered for a while now.  I am so grateful for Mindy and Brielle!!!  They came down and took pictures for me in my time of need.  They turned out so cute!!!!!  Ady is thrilled to be getting baptized.  She has grown up so much in the last year.  She has improved in leaps and bounds at school and is super excited to be starting 3rd grade.  She is super friendly and loves to play outside.  We are really blessed to have this spunky girl in our family.

So much more I forgot and my phone doesn't have it anymore.  Bummer!!!!

The Year Has Ended....

And I still can't get good at updating this thing.  Oh well!  2012 definitely had it's ups and downs.  I am so glad I posted all the ups and can go back and look at them.  I all too often remember and focus on the hard times that I have a hard time recognizing the good times.  One goal this year is to continue to keep track of the good things.  I need to focus more on those and less on the hard stuff.
THIS IS A LONG POST AND MORE FOR ME THAN ANYONE ELSE!!!!!
With that said I've learned a lot this year.  Or at least I hope I have.  A few weeks ago I had an emotional "freak out".  One tiny thing caused it....and it took me quite a few days to rebound from it.  It was around the first of the year and because of my anger and frustration I decided to make a list of all the things I was struggling with or not good at.  The list was quite extensive.  I was feeling terrible and no I didn't make a list of the things I was good at.  At the time I felt there was nothing.  This breakdown happened on a Sunday and the following day I made the trek up to Mindy's to babysit her kids and I ended up spending the whole day there.  It was lovely.  I was abe to vent and talk things out.  She was the best listener.  I left feeling great but soon felt terrible that I vented the whole time.  I texted her and she reassured me that it was a great day!  The next day I had a therapy appointment (yes I broke down and started therapy a few months back)....it wasn't the best appointment.  I was still really struggling with my "freak out". She gave me a few suggestions and we worked on some stuff, I left not being too happy about the session.  The following Saturday Mindy and her family came for games.  AWESOME!!!!  Love it, I look forward to these days so much.  I was feeling better but still confused and frustrated.  I know so often that people are brought into your life for a purpose and Mike and Mindy are truly some of those people (Mike is Davis' cousin but they lived far from each other and never had much of a connection.  For some odd reason I blog stalked Mindy like crazy while they lived in Texas so when they moved back to Utah we were fast friends.)  Just as Mindy was leaving she handed me a book.  I was actually pretty excited to read it.  The next day I sat down and read almost half of it....given it's a super short book, maybe only 50 pages.  After reading the first half I wasn't blown away.  It was a good book, but nothing earth shattering.  The next week....my kids had been off track for quite some time and they were entertaining themselves quite nicely.  I decided to do some "homework" from therapy so I grabbed my papers (talks she had asked me to print off) the book from Mindy and a few other things, scriptures, random stuff.  I locked myself in my room (Warren was asleep so I thought I was good.  I only got interrupted twice it was a miracle.)  I started with the talks.  Nothing was "feel" worthy.  It was good just maybe not what I was looking for or needing at the time.  I decided to pick up the book from Mindy again thinking I would just finish it so I could get it back to her.  Let's just say I cried for 3 hours.  When I finally got control of my emotions and could think straight I figured out I had no idea why I was crying and what had touched me so much.  I went about my day and eventually even texted Mindy and said, "I finished the book and cried for 3 hours, though I'm not quite sure why."  About this time the kids were in bed and I decided to talk it out with Davis.  I actually talked it out with a few diffferent people the following week or so.  I want to put down here some of the things I learned.  The book is called, "When your prayers seem unanswered." by S. Michael Wilcox.  I actually wasn't super thrilled with the title since I'd read many books about prayer and was still frustrated.  This wasn't so much about prayer to me as it was other things.  The first pointer, I won't go in book order per say.  But it talks about holding places in your heart.  He mentions that sometimes things happen and life happens and we don't feel like we are getting anywhere.  No matter how fervent our prayers, no matter how much scripture study/reading, talking it out you do, the "answer" can't come until there is a place in your heart for it.  At first I was bugged.  I felt like the place should just be there and that the Lord could put it there and find a place for it.  He then went on to describe that sometimes we need "life's experiences" and time to pass for that place to be carved out.  I had complained to Davis just recently (part of the freak out) that it felt like no mattter how hard I tried, no matter how much "work" I put into it, it always felt like there were never any answers or ends to the trials I was facing.  Yes they had moments of end to them but they never truly ended.  The book then gave a personal story.  I am grateful for "this" personal story since so many times I hear stories of trials and the end is "in sight".  This trial for him started at age 14 and didn't end until 20 years later.  Now that is my kind of trial.  I finally understood that sometimes you aren't ready for the answer.  Not until after certain things happen in life to prepare a way for the answers...until then you can't fully understand them.  GENIUS!  The next part was even more profound for me.  I really struggle with being positive and seeing the good.  I've gotten to the point where I don't have hopes and dreams anymore.  The reality is all the hopes and dreams I have ever had have never come to be or I get the complete opposite of what I was hoping and dreaming for.  My friend recently asked me what I wanted in life and I honestly told her that I didn't know anymore.  I explained my reasoning and I don't remember what she said.  I think it was a carving place moment in my heart though.  So his chapter on stone and bread talks about how the Lord only gives us bread, never stones.  I didn't neccesarily agree in the begining.  As I read on and listened to his personal stories and reasoning, I finally understood.  I will quickly quote from the book, "There are times in our lives when I think the Lord says, "I gave you bread, but it wasn't the kind of bread you wanted and because you keep thinking about the kind of bread you wanted you've turned my bread into a stone.  I gave you a fish, but it wasn't the flavor or fish you wanted, and you've turned it into a serpent.  Or I gave you an egg, but I cooked it differently from how you ordered it, and you think I'd given you a scorpion."  He then speaks of two kinds of goods, the expected good and the given good.  He emphasizes that God ONLY gives GOOD!  I had to step back and look at the "good" God has given me and it was so easy to turn it into stone or a serpent.  Yet when I look back I can start to see that it is good, not the expected good, but still good.  The last part I want to mention (don't get me wrong there is a lot in this book) is the Poorest Soil.  He talks about a womens conference he went to and he heard a woman ask a series of questions like "Why did my life not turn out like I thought it would." "Why does it seem that everything in my life goes wrong?" "I get trial after trial and, yet, when I look at other sisters, their lives seem to be going smoothly.  How come my life can't go smoothly like their lives?  I recognize that I don't know all they are going through and yet, so many of my expectations have failed to appear yet some of my worst fears have come. Why?"  I was SUPER excited to read this chapter.  I had recently been frustrated with a close friend....I really love and respect her so when she said this I was pretty irritated (don't get me wrong, there is more to what she said than I will write but this part really impacted me.  It truly was a carving spot.)  She mentioned how truly blessed she had been, how the trials she had faced in life were small and seemingly easy.  She then said, "She felt that the Lord loved her more than those whose lives were full of hard trials."  (She did know this was not true and she explained things better but that's not what I heard and felt.)  I also had a close friend tell me the if I only had a better attitude that my life would be better.  That the reason my life was so full of trials was because I was so angry and pessimistic.  This too I stewed on for many weeks.  It was super hard not to compare our lives and see how she had truly been blessed in a certain trial, when I went through a very similar trial the outcome was not full of blessings.  It was full of heartache and I truly wondered if the outcome would've been different if I'd had a more positive look at it.  I also had spent way too many hours thinking about the blessings in others lives and seeing the heartache in my own.  Back to the book.  He also comments about how his life has turned out better than he had anticipated and that he had been blessed so much.  He even says, "God has been so kind to me."  He then said he wondered about the fairness of life and wondered with a twinge of guilt why some people go through such difficult trials, yet others seem to have such a good life.  He then goes on to talk about the parable of the vineyard, where the Lord plants different branches in different places.  He then nourishes them and in the end the harvest proves different results.  He says of one branch, it was planted in the poorest spot in all the land of the vineyard and the servant asks "why"....just as I have often wondered, why I was planted in a poor spot, why I have had to go through such difficult trials.  The Lord says, "I knew that it was a poor spot of ground."  He knows your situation in life.  He then says (and this is all in Jacob 5) "I know it's a poor spot, so I have nourished it a long time.  I have not left you to fare as best you can in a difficult situation" much nourishing has been going on, much of it in ways that are challenging for a mortal to understand.  He then says, "Thou beholdest that it hath brought forth much fruit" even in the poorest spots of ground, good fruit can be produced.  It goes on to say, "Look hither; behold I have planted another branch of the tree also; and thou knowest that this spot was poorer than the first."  A reminder that there are others in even poorer situations than ourselves.  "But behold I have nourished it this long time and it hath brought forth much fruit" and then last but not least "Look hither, and behold, this have I planted in a good spot of ground.  I have nourished it this long time, and only a part of the tree hath brought forth tame fruit and the other part hath brought forth wild fruit.  I have nourished this like unto the others."  He then says something profound, "It isn't the spot of ground we're planted in that matters: it's how we respond to the Lord's nourishing.  The poorest of poor spots can bring forth some of the sweetest fruits.  We must believe this or else we will allow our circumstances and environment to determine our lives and the quality of our souls.  Back to this sweet sister....she ends by saying she went to hear a lady speak about her HUGE trials in life and in the end she felt jealous of this woman and her trials.  She realized that through her trials she had become so much closer to the Savior.  We all know people in life that have been planted in the poor soil and others planted in the good.  We also know how many in both catergories bring forth good fruit.  I know that Heavenly Father puts us in certain circumstances and allows certain trials in life to happen to each and everyone of us.  He does this because He knows and loves us.  Life is not fair and equal.  But if we allow the nourishing of the Lord we will bring forth good fruit.  What one person needs to succeed is different from what someone else needs to succeed.
I love what I learned from this book.  I almost don't want to give it back.  Maybe I can find a copy for myself.  I have to say this last year had been full of moments where my heart has been prepared.  Lots of little things have added up for the one moment that I read this book.  I don't have many of the answers I have been seeking but I have newfound hope.  I have understanding that wasn't there before.  I will continue in patience and I will work on being more positive and not turning my bread into stones.

August and September

Since I am so far behind and can't remember everything on top of my calendar being erased. I will just put the things I remember on here and finish August and September. Maybe I can do better with October, but no guarantees. AUGUST
2-Pack Meeting 8-Anna came to babysit so we could go out on a date. This is a rare thing so this was great. Now that Tanner is getting a bit older I think our dating life will get a little better. 11-Whitney Adams and Makaylee Huntsman were baptized. We were so happy to be there for this wonderful moment. It was also Stake Conference so Davis went from the baptism to the Priesthood session and then we attended the adult session. It was a wonderful session. Pretty much the best stake conference in a long time. It was exactly what I needed to hear. 12-Sushi Night with the Huntsmans and Andersons. I have to say this is my favorite thing to do. Amazing food and wonderful friends to hang out with. 16-18 Youth Conference, Davis only went on the 17. He's been super busy at work and that's all that would fit into his schedule. 18-Berry Picking, dinner at Applebee's and Nicklecade with Grandma and Poppie 22-Bennett first day of school 25-Jeff Wedding....Now this was a momentous occasion! Jeff found himself an amazing girl!!!! We are so lucky to have Janelle in our family. She truly is a wonderful person. I look forward to getting to know her better and seeing them grow their family and lives. SEPTEMBER 3-Labor Day-I have no idea what we did for Labor Day this year. I am pretty sure nothing since Davis had to work. LAME!!!!
6-Addison turns "8"....I have to say this was a rough day. My friend Wendy called and it was so nice to have someone remember. I finally got around to posting a picture on Facebook but it was almost a day I wanted to come and go and not be so sad still. We didn't get our annual picture by her headstone or let balloons go and I did that on purpose. We did get an icecream cake from Dairy Queen and the kids loved it.
8-Tara Blomquist wedding....we missed the wedding but drove up to Heber for the reception. She looked beautiful and we are so happy for her and Joseph. 28-left for California....Disney time!!!!! 29-Celebrating 12 years married, nothing too amazing. We made it to Dean and Rashell's around 1. Davis took the kids swimming and I went grocery shopping with Uncle Dean. We'll shoot for something fun for #15....right?!?! LOL
30-Went to church with the Blomquists and then to the beach. The kids loved loved loved it. Okay Warren had a rough moment but he was good. OCTOBER (just to finish California) 1-We told the kids we were going home and instead surprised them with Universal Studios. It was a crazy heat wave and the 102 degree weather was terrible, but we had a great time. Tanner said he like Universal the best. After Universal we went to dinner and told the kids it was late so we would stay in a hotel and go home tomorrow. 2-4We woke up and surprised the kids with Disneyland. They were very surprised and super happy. We spent the first day at California Adventure, second day Disneyland thirda day doing things we missed at both parks. Bennett loved Thunder Mnt, Space Mnt and Splash Mnt. He truly was magical. We did the child swap and Bennett ended up going with me most of the time. He would just smile and say, "This ride is amazing you will love it!" Warren was super great and slept awesome in the stroller. He loved meeting Mickey Mouse and Disney Jr live. We got to ride a bunch of rides together and I loved it. It reminded me of when we went with Tanner. My favorite was the Winnie the Pooh ride and then we came out and met Winnie the Pooh and Tigger....exact same thing happened when I took Tanner 8 years ago. Tanner and I loved the World of Color the most! Truly amazing and magical!!! My second favorite thing was eating a Dole whip (delish) monte carlo, pomme frittes and beignets. The kids loved the beignets. I will for sure get those again and the dole whip. Momentous moment-while we were waiting for Davis to ride the swings with Bennett, Warren was out running around on this little pier area under the swing area. Next thing I know Ady is screaming(that's what she does). I went to look and Warren had slipped his shoe off and it ended up in the lagoon....sweet! We waited 45 minutes to rescue it...we dried said shoe and put them in the diaper bag. Skip forward a few days, same diaper bag gets left at Chili's in San Diego. We didn't realize it until midnight in the hotel in Barstow.....LAME! 5-Sea World.....this was the last day in Cali and we were pretty tired. Sea World was a great last day thing. We hit almost all of the shows and wandered through the indoor stuff. The kids then spent at least an hour in the Sesame Street play area. Davis and I sat with a sleeping Warren and ate frozen lemonade. We left and ended in Barstow for the night and finished the trip home the next day.

July 2012

I think I have tried to update this 3 times now and blogger has been awful and dumped ALL of my updates!!!! It is now September and I will attempt one more time to update this. SOOOOO SAD, I just realized my phone month of July is blank too....seriously! July really was an awesome month, but I can't remember every little thing. I am so sad!!!! Oh well, such is life. JULY
2-4-Family camp with the Harrington Cousins!! This was awesome, we had so much fun with my cousins. The kids loved all of the activities. Bennett made a new friend....I always love when cousins become friends. Bennett asks when he gets to see London again and it's sad to say I don't know. The highlights of this trip for me was all the talking. I got to talk to my baby cousin Bree, who is expecting her first baby (okay Krew is here now, but only because it's September!!! LOL) It was great to talk to her. I especially loved the talks with my cousin Trish. It was MUCH needed. She really helped me open my eyes a bit and heart. She suggested a book and I am trying to read it. It's been tough, I probably need to call her soon. I also loved talking with Kristy and Aunt Louise. I got to see my cousin MaryAnn and her cute family. I don't even remember the last time I saw her, sigh. We met new friends and just had a great time. I love my Harrington cousins and feel so blessed to have them in my life.
6-Splash pad and lunch with Asialene. This was a much needed talk too. I love this girl. The Smith's hold a special place in our hearts. They are the friends that no matter how long it's been you can get together and feel like you saw them yesterday and your relationship is still as strong as ever. The friends that you would go to the other side of the country to visit even though you hadn't known them long. And the ones you hope to go visit in Brazil....wink wink! I got side tracked....let's just say we talked and talked and talked. Neither of us wanted to part. It was sad when we had to say good bye. But we have been better about email and hopefully we can get the timezone down and talk on the phone once in awhile. Davis and I also went to the temple. It was an interesting experience and not one I will mention here. 8-Tanner turns "11" We didn't do a ton more than the basic "favorite dinner" and cake on his real birthday, but he got to go to a Blaze game with his Dad and friend Carson (and Carson's Dad Sam) I heard it was great and he was super happy. He also got a new bike from my parents.
12-Girls Camp bishopric night! One of my favorite nights of the year. It did not disappoint. The food was fun, the company fantastic and the fact that I was clean and not sleep deprived....priceless!
20- Dinner with the Kords and their families. It was wonderful. Megan did a great job!!! So nive to have such great friends. We need to do this more often. 21-Ward breakfast.....always good. Can't wask for a better ward. 24-Holiday
25-Tanner starts 6th grade, Ady 2nd grade and Matt 1st grade
29-5th Sunday dinner with the Blomquist side
I know we hit seven peaks a few times but I seriously can't remember everything.

JUNE

JUNE
5-Matt's last day of Kindergarten.  He got the distinguished cub and was very proud of himself.  He is super excited for 1st grade.
6-School is out for the Summer, Ady got the flu and missed the last day of school.  She was super bummed. She also got distinguished cub and worked super hard to get it.  Tanner enjoyed his last day of 5th grade and is really looking forward to 6th grade.  I hope this year will be less stressful and he can do better in school.
7-Pack Meeting-Tanner got his Weeblos and Arrow of Light.  We had a science theme and it was super fun.
8-Holly go the flu so Davis missed the High Adventure camp...I was sad since I knew he was looking forward to it and I had some fun things planned with the kids.
9-Had Jay's kids for the morning.  Ady and Aiden are now the best of friends.  After the wedding we had lunch amd visited.  It was great to see them, but too fast.
14-Tanner got new glasses.  He is happy to be able to see better.
14-16 Camping with the Williams and Woods....soooo much fun.  We went up on the 14th just our family.  It was great, not too crazy.  Davis and I both commented on how nice it was.  We then went fishing in the morning and Warren decided to run into the lake, grrrrr.  We went back to camp and waited for the Williams and Woods.  We even got to go geocaching, which was on our summer bucket list.  Bennett started throwing up so Davis took him and Warren home to sleep, having to come back in the morning to help pack up.  We went to Cascade Springs....so wonderful I think we will do that again.
16-Father's Day dinner with the Strongs....good times!!!!
17-Father's Day, stayed home from church with Ady, Bennett and Warren, something is going around.  Made Davis breakfast and dinner.  Played some games, all in all a relaxing day.  Lots of laundry was done....so needed to be done.
19-Watched neighbors kids so they could go to a wedding.
23-Grandma Strong 90th birthday. Such an amazing woman! It was wonderful to see all the cousins that had come in from out of town.
Dinner with Amber Barnes....moving to AZ.  I will miss her!!!
26- Deb's birthday.  Celebrated with dinner at Kiersti's.  Met the Walker's and lots of missionaries from Trevor's mission. I have to say it was a but difficult for me. I think a part of me has pretended it didn't happen and he's still on his mission.

Adylin's 7th birthday

Ady got a birthday party this year.  These are her invites.  I blew the balloons up with a hand pump and wrote the info on it.  We had fun delivering these to her friends.
 The table of treats!

The bling they got when they came over.
These cookies were cute and super yummy!

 Happy crazy Birthday girl!!!
One of the crafts.  I had tons of crafty stuff for them and they had so much fun with it.
We had cake/icecream cupcakes.  They were a hit and super easy.
Happy Birthday sweet girl!  Adylin is such a joy to have in our family.  She is very kind and empathetic.  Super helpful and willing to do what needs to be done.  Tries to make everyone happy.  She loves school and her friends.  She likes to toe the line when it comes to everything.  She pushes to see where the line is and when the consequence will occur.  It drives me crazy but we are learning to figure it out.  She did really well in 1st grade and is super excited for 2nd grade.  We love our little "Angel".
