THE ZOO

We have season passes to the Hogle Zoo and decided today to go with Amy, Whitney and Olivia Adams. My Mom was kind enough to join us too, I think she went home and took a nap though! :)

Ady's first time at the zoo. She loved it and wanted to walk the whole time.

AUGUST 27, 2006

This is Matthew the other day. He's bound and determined to get out of this bouncy seat.

AND this is how I found Ady and Daddy the other day!!! Goofy guys!
SHARE get together.

As some of you know, I belong to an organization called SHARE infant and pregnancy loss. It's mainly composed of woman who've suffered the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or soon after birth.
Well, a group of us got together on Saturday August 26, 2006 at Murray Park. It was so awesome to meet these friends face to face (most of which I've know for some time, just usually communicate through the SHARE boards.)

This first picture is of RAINBOW babies. These are the children born after the loss. They are the "rainbow" of joy after the tears (storm). We have Adylin, Addyson, Cali and Matthew.

This is Adylin and Cali. I can only imagine what Cali is saying?!?! :)

These are my friends!!! All SHARE Mommys.

Here are the SHARE Daddys.

A group photo of all that was there.
AUGUST 21, 2006

Matthew is getting so big. He really doesn't want to be a baby. He wants to be big like his brother and sister. Here's my little man sitting like a big boy. He's only 5 months old, the little stinker!!

FOREVER FAMILY!!!

Well, it's even more official. We had Adylin sealed to us on August 19, 2006. It was a very special moment. Davis' grandfather, Ronald Strong was our sealer. It was so wonderful to see so many friends and family members there. We missed those that couldn't make it.

The funniest part of the sealing was when Grandpa Strong read off the names of our children and said, "I see four children, now that's a good start." :)

It was so precious watching three of our children dressed in white, enter the sealing room. Tanner was so sweet, with his arms folded. Adylin in her pretty white dress and arms folded. Matthew content to suck on his binkie. :) I'm also sure our fourth one was there, I just didn't get to see her.

Well, after the sealing, Tanner hurried over and jumped into the sealers chair, right in the middle of his two grandpas. It was really cute!

Well, here are a few pictures.

Hungry Hungry Hippo :)

Matthew is eating baby food and loving it.

As you can see, he loves to eat.
The other day I decided to fill Tanner's old sandbox with water. Adylin and Tanner loved it. They wanted to stay in longer, but Matthew woke up :)

TANNER STARTED KINDERGARTEN

August 1 was his first day. Mom made his favorite breakfast, belgian waffles with strawberries and whip cream.

Here he is just before he got in the car. He's striking a pose...silly boy.

Proud Kindergartener

His name tag by his seat.

Sitting at his seat.

AND "NO!" I did not cry. I'm so happy for him to be in school....now I just can't wait for the FULL day of 1st grade. This half day stuff stinks. Especially on Friday when he goes for only an hour and a half....I barley have time to get home, unload the kids, load them back up and get back to pick him up. Oh, well, we'll get through. Tanner is on C track and gets off on the 11 of August for 3 weeks.
Well, with my SWEET kids being 9 months apart, we have some crazy moments. I usually go through this multiple times a day, so I decided to get the camera ready :)

Here's Adylin taking Matthew's binkie

Here she is using it

And here she is trying to give it back

Now the more FUN part.... Here's Adylin climbing on top of Matthew. It's her favorite seat in the house. Luckily he's fairly good about it now that he's a bit older. (thus the time for a picture.)

I thought I would turn the tables a bit and put him on her :)

She was okay for a little HUG, but soon wasn't too thirlled and tried to push him off. (don't worry, no harm was done to either child.)

Now, when all is said and done, she REALLY DOES LOVE HIM!!!! They will one day be the best of friends, I'm sure of it.
