California-Newport Beach

We are coming home tomorrow, but I thought I would hurry and post a few pictures. We've had fun in the sun!!!! The kids have gotten along really well and have done well. The napping hasn't been fabulous, but they still did great!
Both Matthew and Adylin were scared of the waves and Tanner did better as the days went on. He never really went in too far, but he got pretty wet.
Here's a picture of Tanner and his cousin Lexi playing in the sand.

Kiersti and Lolly (Lauren)

The boys played A LOT of frisbee.

Playing with Uncle Scott. Ady and Lexi kept saying, "Giddy up horsey!"

The kids loved the swing set. We were right off the pier, beach and play area. Tomorrow morning I'll take a picture from our balcony (if I remember...LOL)

My heart skipped a beat when I saw little Lexi this high. I'm glad she was with Trevor....phew.My little sunworshipper. She layed down next to Uncle Jeff and he put some sunglasses on her. She tried to sleep, so I moved her to a chair with Matthew. BEFORE

Less than 10 mintues later.

Adylin's official birthday party!!!!

Adylin's party was Sunday June 3rd. We had so much fun. We had a nacho bar for dinner. It was a big hit!!!! Ady of-course loved the attention. Here she is blowing out her candle.

Matthew covered in chocolate asking for more cupcakes.

Uncle Andy and Aunt Hiedi got this cute outfit for Ady. Like the total girl she is, she wanted to put it on right away!!!
Opening presents. She got a lot of GREAT presents. She loves Dora and it was a Dora party.

My Mom and I made Adylin this adorable tutu. She wore it to church and had a "blowout", lucky me!!! She sure loved being pretty! I also made her headband and got her this cute set of necklaces. Ah, my little princess is getting so big!!!

Kindergarten ZOO day

Last Wednesday, our school to all of the kindergarten classes to the zoo. Crazy, I know. Well, I went to work and then met the buses at the park for lunch. I was getting lunch ready and I heard, "TANNER'S MOM!!!!!!" I turned and saw a boy from our ward, Carson Sweet, waving and yelling at me! It was so cute!!! So, since I knew his Mom couldn't make it, I took a picture. :)
Carson then pointed out to me this cute little bird.
SIDE NOTE: After lunch all of the kids were playing on the playground equipment and the Mom's were talking. I saw a group of kids running around screaming and laughing. One of the other Mom's said, "Is that a little bird?" I said, "Yes, it was hanging out with us while we ate." The other Mom started yelling to the group of kids, "Leave that bird alone." We decided to walk over to the group and see if we could save the little bird from being too frightened. Unfortunatley the kids were doing more than scaring the bird. Some of the kids had feathers in thier hands....they were pulling feathers off of it!!!! This Mom and I were horrified. We gave the kids a pretty good lecture and took them away from the bird. Poor thing!!!!
Tanner and Kaylee!!! I was in charge of two kids, Tanner and Kaylee, it was wonderful. Most of the other Mom's had four kids. YAY for me.

My friend Amber and her son Nathan.
Taylor, Tierra and Tanner looking at snakes.
Tanner thought the rinos smelled really bad!!!!

Climbing on the Rhino statue!

My little group hung out with another little group of girls. It was fun. We took a few pictures but most of the time we were so busy trying to count heads.

Grandma's House

Last weekend while Dad was in Canada, we spent a lot of time at my Mom's house. She was cleaning out her house and getting ready for a garage sale. I was helping my Mom carry this coffee table down to the garage....I only got to the landing when I had to do something else. A few minutes later Adylin came doewn the stairs with a lampshade on her head. She climbed on the coffee table and started dancing with Matthew. Tanner then came home and got in on the fun. It was hilarious. I figured I would take pictures and if she ever does this again in her teen years (drunk of-course) I'll tell her it was destiny!!!! LOL

What is that look, Tanner???
TA-DA!!!!!!!!!!
Ah, my little table dancers....Mommy is so PROUD!!!!!

ADYLIN IS TWO!!!!!!!

Adylin turned two on May 25, 2007. Davis was in Vancouver, so my Mom had me bring Matthew and Ady into our work (my Mom and I work together.) We got there and there were a bunch of cupcakes in the conference room with a DARLING doll a few people at work got for her. The doll gives kisses and says, "I Love You." It's really cute. Ady calls all of her dolls LaLa, so she had another talking LaLa. She sleeps with it and it seems to be her favorite right now. :)

We sang Happy Birthday and she blew out her candle. Then she said, "AGAIN!!!" We all laughed. She was happy to eat her "cake" and she had some vanilla icecream.

After eating cake and icecream Ady and Matthew decided to wander the halls and visit everyone that was working.
We will have Ady's official party on Sunday June 3, so more pictures will be coming.

BYE BYE DORA

On May 18, 2007 Mom and Tanner took Dora our kitty to the humane society.

Since we've moved into our new house, Dora has been stuck down in the basement. Occasionally I forget she's there (it's been lovely.) So, with us building the new house, Davis and I felt it was time to get rid of all of the animals. We explained this to Tanner and he CRIED and CRIED. We tried to give him a little while to get used to the idea. But, finally it was time to go. Tanner got to spend the last night in the changing room with Dora and he took some pictures of her.

So, on Friday we met Dad at work and switched cars. Tanner and I took Dora to the Humane Society. This was a big mistake, because Tanner was a MESS!!!
Tanner did write a note to Dora. It was really cute. He was so emotional in the end he forgot to give it to her and that made him even more angry.
The note says, "Dora, you can swing by anytime. I love you Tanner
Tanner was so concerned that Dora was going to forget him. It was a very sad moment. Now he is fine and Mommy is very happy that the cat is gone. :)
