August and September

Since I am so far behind and can't remember everything on top of my calendar being erased. I will just put the things I remember on here and finish August and September. Maybe I can do better with October, but no guarantees. AUGUST
2-Pack Meeting 8-Anna came to babysit so we could go out on a date. This is a rare thing so this was great. Now that Tanner is getting a bit older I think our dating life will get a little better. 11-Whitney Adams and Makaylee Huntsman were baptized. We were so happy to be there for this wonderful moment. It was also Stake Conference so Davis went from the baptism to the Priesthood session and then we attended the adult session. It was a wonderful session. Pretty much the best stake conference in a long time. It was exactly what I needed to hear. 12-Sushi Night with the Huntsmans and Andersons. I have to say this is my favorite thing to do. Amazing food and wonderful friends to hang out with. 16-18 Youth Conference, Davis only went on the 17. He's been super busy at work and that's all that would fit into his schedule. 18-Berry Picking, dinner at Applebee's and Nicklecade with Grandma and Poppie 22-Bennett first day of school 25-Jeff Wedding....Now this was a momentous occasion! Jeff found himself an amazing girl!!!! We are so lucky to have Janelle in our family. She truly is a wonderful person. I look forward to getting to know her better and seeing them grow their family and lives. SEPTEMBER 3-Labor Day-I have no idea what we did for Labor Day this year. I am pretty sure nothing since Davis had to work. LAME!!!!
6-Addison turns "8"....I have to say this was a rough day. My friend Wendy called and it was so nice to have someone remember. I finally got around to posting a picture on Facebook but it was almost a day I wanted to come and go and not be so sad still. We didn't get our annual picture by her headstone or let balloons go and I did that on purpose. We did get an icecream cake from Dairy Queen and the kids loved it.
8-Tara Blomquist wedding....we missed the wedding but drove up to Heber for the reception. She looked beautiful and we are so happy for her and Joseph. 28-left for California....Disney time!!!!! 29-Celebrating 12 years married, nothing too amazing. We made it to Dean and Rashell's around 1. Davis took the kids swimming and I went grocery shopping with Uncle Dean. We'll shoot for something fun for #15....right?!?! LOL
30-Went to church with the Blomquists and then to the beach. The kids loved loved loved it. Okay Warren had a rough moment but he was good. OCTOBER (just to finish California) 1-We told the kids we were going home and instead surprised them with Universal Studios. It was a crazy heat wave and the 102 degree weather was terrible, but we had a great time. Tanner said he like Universal the best. After Universal we went to dinner and told the kids it was late so we would stay in a hotel and go home tomorrow. 2-4We woke up and surprised the kids with Disneyland. They were very surprised and super happy. We spent the first day at California Adventure, second day Disneyland thirda day doing things we missed at both parks. Bennett loved Thunder Mnt, Space Mnt and Splash Mnt. He truly was magical. We did the child swap and Bennett ended up going with me most of the time. He would just smile and say, "This ride is amazing you will love it!" Warren was super great and slept awesome in the stroller. He loved meeting Mickey Mouse and Disney Jr live. We got to ride a bunch of rides together and I loved it. It reminded me of when we went with Tanner. My favorite was the Winnie the Pooh ride and then we came out and met Winnie the Pooh and Tigger....exact same thing happened when I took Tanner 8 years ago. Tanner and I loved the World of Color the most! Truly amazing and magical!!! My second favorite thing was eating a Dole whip (delish) monte carlo, pomme frittes and beignets. The kids loved the beignets. I will for sure get those again and the dole whip. Momentous moment-while we were waiting for Davis to ride the swings with Bennett, Warren was out running around on this little pier area under the swing area. Next thing I know Ady is screaming(that's what she does). I went to look and Warren had slipped his shoe off and it ended up in the lagoon....sweet! We waited 45 minutes to rescue it...we dried said shoe and put them in the diaper bag. Skip forward a few days, same diaper bag gets left at Chili's in San Diego. We didn't realize it until midnight in the hotel in Barstow.....LAME! 5-Sea World.....this was the last day in Cali and we were pretty tired. Sea World was a great last day thing. We hit almost all of the shows and wandered through the indoor stuff. The kids then spent at least an hour in the Sesame Street play area. Davis and I sat with a sleeping Warren and ate frozen lemonade. We left and ended in Barstow for the night and finished the trip home the next day.
