Bennett

So this little man turned three on November 14. Unfortunately for him his birthday was the same day as his Uncle Trevor's funeral. So because of that, he got a bit shafted. Thank goodness he is 3 and will never know. He was never forgotten though. Aunt Mindy was super nice to bring him a present at the luncheon....he was very happy. We never found a great time to celebrate, so we just sang happy birthday off and on for a few days and had dessert more than normal. It worked.

This kid LOVES dinosaurs, here he is making a dino sound. You really have to ask him to do it, it's pretty awesome. He did get a few perks. Davis was home for a whole week around his birthday so one day we took him to Walmart and he got to choose toys for his birthday. He loved being with Dad and Mom and Warren and of-course he wanted dinosaurs :) We also did lunch with him a few times. He was supposed to start preschool on his birthday but he had to wait and start on Wednesday. He gets to go to an Elementary school for speech and ride the big kid bus. He rode it home the first Wednesday and then was sick the following Monday, didn't have it Wednesday due to Thanksgiving and was super scared to ride it that first Monday. He cried for a few minutes but has done great since. His speech is improving a ton and he is such a fun kid. I remebered to take a picture of him today by the bus. He loves it and gets to sit by a little girl named Helen. She always gets so happy to see him.

We sure love having Bennett in our home. He brings so much joy and love to our house. He is super helpful and very mindful of things. He's much smarter than his little mouth can talk. I was surprised the other day when he asked for a drink. All of the kids have the same type of cup, only difference is their names are on it. He grabbed Ady's cup and before he gave it to me he said, "Oops". I was a little confused...and surprised he recognized a difference. He then went and got his cup and I asked him whose cup he had and he said, "Ady's" I then showed him all the cups and he could tell me whose cup was who's. I was pretty impressed. He's starting to get "friends". I asked him who his friends were and he said, "Jones and Mya." It took me a minute to figure out what he'd said, but when I did I laughed. I guess he's seen his cousins a lot lately. :) I told him the other day we were going somewhere and he got a bit stubborn. I then told him Jones would be there and he jumped to it. hahaha, I love cousin love!!! I never thought these two would be friends. He loves his siblings too. He gets so sad when Matt has to go to school. If he gets bored he'll go wake Warren up to "play". I'd say it's cute, but that would be a lie, it makes me pretty upset. :)

If you don't know Bennett, you should, he's a hoot!!! Love you little man!
