Ady and Matthew are in LOVE! and really won't let him be. Ady had a bit of a fuss the first night, she was happy leaving Mom at the hospital, but did NOT want to leave her baby. When my Mom first brought them he was in the nursery so my Mom took her to peek in the window. She saw him and said, "Look Grandma, there's my baby Bennett." She looked around and said, "Where's Matthew's baby??!?" My mom told her she'd have to share and she wasn't too thrilled by that. When they brought him in she of-course was the first to hold him and she wouldn't let anyone else. Matthew sat so patiently waiting his turn. Finally I had to drag him away from her. They really are very happy to have this little guy in our home. Matthew loves to tickle him to get him to wake up...it's cute.
We got to the hospital around 7:20 am on Friday and they got the iv and penicillin going(strep b positive). Around 9 they put the epidural in, aroudn 11 the doc broke my water and he was born at 12:20. It was quick and easy. He's doing very well and was very pink and healthy. YAY!
We are home now and just trying to keep Ady and Matthew from bugging him 24/7.

He is perfect and I can't get over how tiny he is! The second to the last picture is my favorite, of him on the warming table. I love how alert babies are when they are born!
Definitely looks like a Strong baby! He is so cute and I am so very happy for your family. It's fun to hear about how Matthew and Ady love him so much. My girls will be jealous when they see him. They want a baby - but mom's not ready! :)
He, of course, is absolutely adorable!!!! I can't wait to meet him - we're almost over our sicknesses here, so hopefully it will be soon!

Congratulations. Sorry I am so late in posting. I saw the pictures yesterday but was a little bit out of it. I love the name Bennett and I can't wait to hold him.
