So last night the Muppets "Wizard of Oz" was on. I turned it on thinking the kids would like it..well, the little ones watched it for a minute and ran off. I was busy doing other things and figured I'd turn it off in a few minutes (Tanner was upstairs busy doing something else.) So I came in to turn it off and Tanner was watching it. Oh joy! Well, Tanner has never seen the Muppets or the Wizard of Oz, so he gave me a really confused look and says, "Mom, look that green guy doesn't have a brain." So I got to explain to him who Kermit the Frog was. Then I had to give him the basic run down of the Wizard of Oz (a movie I dislike.) So as I'm unloading the dishwasher Tanner starts laughing. He's really enjoy this show and I seriously can't see why anyone would like the Muppets. (sorry Joe, I really don't get it.) So, it looks like Tanner is liking the Muppets, so if you need a pal to watch them with you, Tanner's your man. I guess Anna and I can do a craft or go shopping...I think I recall her lack of enthusiasm for the Muppets!

I must disagree with you here. I'm not fond of the Muppet Wizard of Oz movie, but I have always LOVED Muppet Treasure Island, and Muppet Christmas Carol. I'm not sure why, but I still laugh out loud every time I watch Treasure Island (which is quite often, because I've gotten Zach & Danny addicted)!
Jarom, however, would agree with you. We're not allowed to watch muppet movies when he's home! :)
BTW, I see that you still haven't decided on a name for the baby. Does this mean that you're not going to go with Jarom's suggestion? LOL
I'm with you Holly, I don't get it with the muppets either...with the exception of Kermit, and that's only because he's on Sesame Street, and the one the plays the drums, I can't stand the muppets! My kids don't even know who they are I don't think- which is good for my sanity!
