So, a lady in the ward sent me a booklet on how to potty train in 3 days. I should've known better when it started out saying you need Love, Consistency, Dedication, Positive Reinforcement, Patience and Focus.....this is sooo not me!!! LOL! So by 10 o'clock in the morning, I'd cried twice, cleaned up 12 accidents and Matthew's drink mess. He dumped a whole gallon of juice on my floor. Thanks Matt! I texted Davis informing him I'd given up, this was not for me!!!!! I probably would've done better training just Ady, since as of 6:30 she has only had 3 accidents. I lost count of Matthew's after 15. She hasn't pooped yet, so I'm waiting for that. I finally got them down for naps at 12:30 and I felt much better when they got up around 3. Unfortunately or Fortunately, we had a birthday party to go to, so I tossed pull-ups on and headed out. As soon as we got home the panties/underwear went back on. By the time Davis got home, I was EXHAUSTED!!!! The kids won't go to bed for another hour in and a half, and Davis leaves in 1 minutes. So here is my quick and pathetic update. I REALLY hope tomorrow goes better. I need to work on my patience!!!!!!!! UGH!

the potty training bug seems to be going around the ward!
hang in there! just keep thinking about your diaper free future!!!
That spilled juice alone would send me into hysterics! I remember potty training Parker, I totally got so frustrated after his second accident, let alone 15! Oh my gosh, I need to bring you a treat or something! Just keep telling yourself: I think I can, I think I can....
That was my first big cry of the day Carrie!! :)
Oh wow. I'm so not into the "potty train in X days" thing. I'm wayyy too laid back for that kind of regimented program! I've been pretty casual with Elijah and he rarely has an accident anymore. I've decided that I just have to do parenting MY OWN way. :) Good luck! Hope today is better!
Oh Holly, I am so sorry. I admire you for potty training two at the same time and for not giving up after the first couple of accidents. Ayva only had 3 accidents (one being poop) the other day when I started her potty training adventure and that was enough for me to change my mind and put it off until Peter can be home for a few days to help me. Thank you for the book you sent me. I believe that if you can do nothing but focus on the child your potty training it probably is possible to do it in 3 days. However, if you have other children who need you then it becomes almost impossible. Ayva did great in the morning while Lilly slept but as soon as Lilly was up and I needed to feed her then the accidents started.
I wish you the best of luck. Let me know if you need anything.
