Why we don't have a dog?!?!

I'll start out by saying, no I have no pictures for you....sorry!

On Saturday, Davis was at basketball and I figured he'd be home soon, so I decided to let the babies play in Tanner and Matthew's room while I hopped into the shower. I finished just as Davis was walking up the stairs. I opened the door to Tanner's room to find my sweet babies diaperless. I said, "Ady, who took off your diaper?" Ady said so proudly, "Matthew did." She then informed me that she took Matthew's diaper off. She then pointed to the floor and said (oh so proudly again), "Look mom, I poo pooed on the floor." There was a perfect pile of poop on the floor. She then pointed to another pile and said, "Matthew poo pooed on the floor too." I then realized (okay, I realized before this moment) that my two wonderful children were covered in poop. I swiftly wisked them off to the bathroom to get the tub started. The 2 seconds they were in the bathroom waiting for me to clean the toys out of the tub, they lovingly wiped their feet on the three rugs in the bathroom, then they proceeded to touch and sit on the toilet....I hurried and got them in the tub and tried to clean up the bathroom mess that they had just made. I then proceeded to clean the room. 1 hour, a gallon of carpet cleaner, and then four loads of laundry to do, I sat down and smiled. I had to keep telling myself that they are just curious and fun loving children.

Later that day Ady informed me that she likes to poo poo on the floor, just like a doggy! She then said, "Mommy, I'm a naughty girl, I like to do naughty things." Ah joy! I did inform her that she's not a naughty girl and that it makes me sad when she does naughty things. SO, fo now we do not need a doggy, we have two little kids that like to be doggies and poop on the floor!

At least they didn't take the poop and proceed to "paint" the walls like my neighbors did when we were little, Ga-Nasty! If they get into the habit of pulling the diapers off some duct tape can fix that.

oh my gosh...one more reason I am not ready for kids! I'm sure that was not the most fun you've ever had, what a trooper.

Hey cuz! (I'm actually Davis's cousin but all the same.) I haven't run into the pooping on the floor bit yet, but I've heard that that is one way to start them getting potty-trained!
