Sassy sweetie!!
I just had to give this it's own post since I was so shocked she said this. This morning while I was making pancakes, Ady got into the pantry to "find something else." She didn't seem too happy with my breakfast choice. I said, "Ady, get out off the pantry." The little snot turned to me with the sassiest voice ever and said, "I'm just looking....YOUR HIGHNESS!!!!" emphasizing with more snottiness the your highness part. Gosh, she's only 3 I seriously can't imagine how much worse she'll get by 13. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I had no clue what to say...I had to pick my mouth up off the floor!

ugh...i also have a "sassie sweetie". you wouldn't believe the sass that comes out of her mouth! good thing ady's so dang cute!
Did she get that phrase from you? I can imagine you saying that to her...

I have NO IDEA (seriously) where she got it from. My only guess is on the Lion King-Scar says something similar. No way would I ever give her the satisfaction of being called YOUR HIGHNESS....LOL
You see, this is why I am terrified to have a girl folks!!! I am not sure what I would have done either!
I would think that it is because she is a girl, but boys can be just as bad if not worse. Easton head butted me so hard that my tooth hurt (guess I have a cavity), then said it wasn't an accident because he wants me to go away because he likes daddy and not me but then he said he likes me a little bit. Yay, at least he likes me a little bit. Kids...they can be so cruel.

Parker explained to me yesterday that when he cries it's because he wants "mommy". I'm thinking, "what am I, chopped liver?!"
I love the innocents of children but they could at least learn some tact so they don't hurt my feelings! Geeeeez
