Take me out to the ball game.....

Tanner's basketball coach asked us if we'd sign Tanner up for t-ball, with his daughter Gracie. He was going to be the coach and Tanner really likes Gracie. They play together at recess sometimes.

Well, Tanner has been really excited and enjoyed his games and practices. He's had fun and learned to run around the bases. Davis sat down and gave him an over view of the game (quite funny to watch, since Davis isn't a big baseball fan.) Well, here are a few pictures from one of the games we went to.

Running HOME!!!

I was only able to watch a part of Tanner's game. Ady was screaming "SLIDE" the whole time. Here are a few pictures of Matthew and Ady on the slide. Ady mostly wanted to go down the big slide, so I hung out with Matthew on the little one. He had a great time and learned to say "weeeeee". He's getting WAY too big.
After sliding, Matthew decided to walk around on the asphalt and there was a boy (around 10 years old) playing basketball. Matthew walked over and took his ball from him (while it was rolling away.) This sweet boy played catch with Matthew for about 30 minutes. I on the other hand was dealing with this wretched bully (no this time it wasn't Ady.) This little girl kept hitting Ady, pulling her hair and pushing her off this big play area. I told her "no-no" a bunch of times, but there was no Mother to be found. :( grrrr!!! I finally had to drag Ady and Matthew away (Ady was screaming SLIDE) I asked Davis to help me take the kids to the car, I was so frustrated. I seriously wanted to smack that little girl on her butt. (yes, I know Tanner, that's a naughty word. LOL)
OH, Tanner got his tonsils out May 8th. He's doing well, but is sad he has missed 2 games and a practice. I told him he could play this week.

I totally meant to ask you how Tanner's surgery went! I'm glad things went well, hopefully he'll feel much better now!

Tanner is so grown up in that hat!!! He looks like he is having so much fun (and such a ladies man).

Hopefully Ady didn't get the idea to be a bully from that situation. She is having so much fun on the slide. Bet she can't wait until her birthday.

Matthew looks a bit more conservative than Ady going down the slide. Not that he didn't like it, but just a tad smaller and the ground is a long way down!!!

Tonsils went by the wayside and the only time he seems to have a sore throat is when he doesn't want to eat dinner... but it doesn't hurt for chocolate peanut butter bars!!!

Love ya, Gramma
