JR. JAZZ

This is Tanner's first year playing Jr. Jazz. I don't go to many of the games, Daddy usually gets to go. But I offered to take Tanner yesterday,
mostly so I could take a few pictures and document it.

Tanner really likes playing basketball, but he dribbles like a girl :) LOL and he dances around the court..... He is REALLY good at defense and loves to steal the ball. I have to admit, the first time I watched him play I was REALLY embarrassed. ;o ) That's part of the reason I don't go to all his games (such a bad Mommy!) the other part is Ady and Matthew....it's really hard keeping them off the court and I end up in the front of the building chasing them half the time.

LOL

Sharing!!!!

I thought this was really cute! The other day Tanner and Matthew were sharing a banana. Tanner wasn't too thrilled about sharing and Matthew wasn't too thrilled about Tanner eating "HIS" banana. In the end it all work out!!!!!

FHE

We had Family Home Evening at our house in January. We invited a new family in the ward and it sure was fun. Sam Sweet gave an awesome lesson on "Trust". He brought a rope and tied it around the kids and picked them up....it was really cool. The kids really seemed to enjoy it.
I forgot to take pictures while the big kids were doing it, but here's cute little Ava. She was so trusting of her Daddy.

Ady on the other hand, needed some convincing....

She never QUITE trusted Daddy. :) LOL

And Peter said he'd "trust" but no one would take him up on the offer.

Sam also grabbed a chair and tried to convince the kids to fall back into his arms. Well, Carson was a little leary and so was Tanner...but sweet little Annabelle got right up there and was a PRO. The boys followed her lead, but were never quite as trusting...interesting!!!! It was an awesome lesson and the dessert was wonderful if I do say so myself. (that was my job and I made fried cheesecake...mmmmm!)

Basket Ball

Tanner's basketball hoop has been a hit with the babies! I love that Matthew can pull himself up and get the balls. It's quite fun to watch. He's a natural!

Ady on the other hand "cheats"....she also likes to climb in and "dunk" it.

My nephew broke his arm while sledding and he wanted me to take pictures and send them too his Dad. He's sooo proud!

New Craze

I saw Ady playing with cups the other day. I hear there's a new craze, where kids are really good at this. Ady sure had fun with it. I think she must be a genius....LOL

EYE TOY!!!

Tanner got an eye toy for the playstation for Christmas. It's a camera and he can see himself on the tv while he's playing games. It puts him on the screen as the player. He's really enjoyed it and I think Davis and the twins enjoyed it almost as much as Tanner. :)

Today Tanner had a friend come over and we thought it would be fun to "eye toy" with Carson. I got some great pictures!!! I hope they show up well. The pictures don't neccesarily do justice to the game quality. It's actually pretty clear.

this is the big screen that you are seeing

The hardest part of the game is sharing and taking turns :) Especially since all you have to do is walk into the screen. Oh well, I think they had fun. We did have to take a break after a little while and do something else.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Well, we had a rockin' party at our house on December 30, the EVE before New Years Eve! We had a great group of people show up, but I didn't crack my camera open...oh well. Maybe Carrie will post a picture or two.

We then had the Warner's and my parents over Sunday night. My parents stayed for dinner and a game and once again my camera didn't come out. SO, later on I took a quick picture of us playing games with the Warner's

I also wasn't paying attention and Davis tied my pants together. It was pretty funny. At least I didn't try to stand up or anything.

And I know Matthew is too young for oranges, but I didn't get this picked up off the floor after lunch (it was Ady's) but at least I got a good picture. Needless to say, he enjoyed it.

A picture of Ady in her new shirt from Aunt Kiersti. There was a post on SHARE for current pictures of your 2005 babies, so I took this to post.

Christmas Pajamas

I also bought the kids matching Christmas pajamas. I think they turned out pretty cute.

Too bad I couldn't get the kids to sit nicely and smile. LOL

Just a few more shots of the kids. Ady and Matthew fought over the zebra. The only good thing, Ady had her horse to play with. :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Christmas morning!!!! Yes, we got a tree up. I put it up yesterday after church. :) I didn't decorate it, oh well. We were busy having fun with my parents on Christmas eve.

Here's the bouncing zebra we got Adylin and Matthew. A rocking horse my parents got Ady.

Tanner's new basketball hoop. YES, Davis was up until midnight putting toys together :) Thanks hun!

Tanner as he came downstairs....he just saw the basketball hoop.

Ady coming down with Davis. The kids slept in until 7:30, so we were able to shower and get ready before coming down. YAY!!! my kind of Christmas.

Tanner got an MP3 player. He was soo excited, but the first words out of his mouth after this picture were, "COOOL, what is it?!?!"

Adylin on her new zebra.

Matthew on Adylin's new zebra.

Davis helping the kids open a present.

My favorite picture. Davis has a guy he works with that bought two fuel powered remote control cars. I guess they're high tech and can go up to 60 miles an hour. Davis really wanted one and he kept asking me if he could buy one off his friend. I knew this guy well, so I bought it for Davis for Christmas. Our limit was only $50, so I over spent my budget on one present....but I figured, he was planning on buying it anyway. I told his friend to tell him that he sold it to someone else (if Davis asked.) Well, a few days before Christmas, Davis was at Sams Club with this same friend. He called me telling me he'd found a PlayStation3 there for a good price. He really wanted it, so I said, "Whatever, you can get it if you want." I was a little bummed since I'd all ready spent a lot on this car, but I knew he wanted the PS3...oh well. Well, he figured that since he was getting the PS3, he couldn't have the car, so he told his friend he probably wasn't going to be buying it. His friend fed him the "I all ready sold it" line and Davis was happy about that.

SO, unexpected, Davis opened it up Christmas morning. I love his face.
