Tanner is 6!

Sunday July 8th was Tanner's 6th birthday. We had our families over for cake and ice cream. It was lots of fun. Aunt McKell made this wonderful birthday cake.

Tanner chose "Transformers" and his Daddy took him to see the movie on Saturday. They both loved it.
Blowing out the candles. Mom tricked Tanner and put trick cnadles on, so when he blew them out, they lit back up. I thought it was hilarious!!!!!
Money from Grandma and Poppie!
Matthew LOVES his cousin Lexi.
Tanner fot these punching transformers from Aunt Kiersti. I think Uncle Andy, Bryan and Daddy played with them more than Tanner.

Happy 4th of July

Well, it's only the 5th, so I'm doing GREAT!!!!! hahaha!

We had a great time. We drove down to Alpine for the STRONG's barbeque. Davis decided to go the back way to Grandpa and Grandmas (he likes to see all the houses) Well, we ran into the lousiest detour EVER!!! We realized after two dead ends, that the last sign must've been stolen :( grrrrr!!! We finally found our way, but it was the LONGEST drive ever!!!!

The kids went to the tire swing first of course. I think this was Matthew's first ride....he loved it. It was HOT, so I was happy Daddy assisted them on the swings. THANKS BABE!

I think Davis got tired of pushing the swing, so Tanner stepped up to his brotherly duties. Notice where Matthew is standing.....yes, he got whacked about 10 times. He stood up and whack! fell down....finally got his footing, stood up, whack!!! As I was rushing over to rescue him, he stepped a little to the right and the swing just missed him. phew!!!

This is baby Lauren's first ride. She seemed to relax, but I'm not sure if she liked it or not.
Grandpa Strong....I don't think I have many pictures, so I thought I should take some.
Every year Uncle Kent, Aunt Brenda and Gordon do the cooking. So I thought I'd take a picture.
There's a big tree with a limb that sticks out straight. The kids love climbing on it and the Dad's love putting the little ones on it. This was Ady's first time....I little freaked in the first picture...totally freaked in the second.
After the STRONG's we headed home for a much needed nap. My parents and the Warner's came over around 6 for a barbeque and fireworks. Matthew LOVES Mommy's potato salad!!!
There was a break after dinner and the kids sat with the Grandpas. Here's Ady with Poppie and Rusty!Matthew sat with Grandpa Warner!
Tanner and Poppie Mark. Cute Cute Cute!
We headed outside for poppers and parachutes....oh and don't forget the fighting tanks.
Ady borrowed my Mom's shoe so she could stomp on the poppers!
Grandma and Grandpa Warner, enjoying the fireworks.
Darcee was a HUGE help. Alyssa was in Yellowstone, so we missed her.
Matthew LOVED the fireworks. He also loved his push-up.....someone needs a bath.Ady's just chillin'. She has soooo much character!!!!We had fun, hope you did too!!!!!!!

More California

As you will see I took a lot of pictures. We had so much fun. We left Salt Lake at 1 am June 22 and got to Newport at 2pm. We went for Deb and Dean's 50th birthday. If you don't know, Davis' mom is a twin. Her twin planned this vacation and got another condo under the one they normally rent each year. Here's a picture on the last day before we went home. Deb wanted a picture of everyone in Newport Beach shirts. :) I know it's a bit hard to see, but the top has from left to right: Trevor (17 one of the twins); Andy holding Will, Scott (the other twin), Davis holding Adylin, McKell, Gordon and then Jeff. 2nd row is Heidi (Andy's wife), Holly (Davis' wife) holding Matthew, Kiersti, Bryan (kiersti's hubby) holding Lauren. Lexi is hiding next to Heidi and Deb is holding Tanner. PHEW!! 7 kids, 3 spouses and 6 grandkids.....just getting started!!!
Will at the beach.
My babies holding hands. Ady was so helpful with Matthew. :) LOL
Ah the beach photos. The guys had so much fun in the water. They sure got beaten up by the waves. But in the end they got the boogie boards figured out and had a great time.

Tanner and Lexi. This was the last day. Tanner was telling Lexi a secret. Ady and Will. They are only 2 days apart in age.
The condo behind, this is a picture of the Blomquist's with Ady......Brandon, Dean and Rashell.

Dean's granddaugter couldn't make it to the beach this year, so Dean adopted Ady as his granddaughter. They were so cute together. She called him Papa and he beamed everytime she wanted Papa. She also couldn't go to bed at night without kissing Papa. Also, if she snuck out of bed and found Papa, he wouldn't put her back to bed right away. She was down right spoiled!!! It was cute though!!! Gotta love grandparents!!!! They truly make life fun for kids and difficult for parents. LOL!!!! Here she is getting in the last kissed with Papa.

HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY DEB AND DEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grandpa loves his grandkids. He spent a lot of one on one time with everyone.
Here he is with little Matthew.
We saw all these bikes around. This one here sat 4 adults and had a spot for kids in the front. They put 6 adults in it and it was a bit crazy :) They also had some that had one row sitting two adults, tons of bikes that sat one, two or three people. It was such a neat and fun place. Here you can see Trevor, Kiersti (and Lauren in lap) and Andy. Bryan, Hiedi and McKell were behind them. Lexi and Will are cozy up front.
Our condo was next to a pier and Tanner loved going there. A few times some of our group saw dolphins and otters off the pier....I wasn't so lucky. Tanner and I did see a smelly fish head :) You can fish off this pier without a fishing license, so there was tons of fishing going on. Tanner wanted to fish so bad, but Mom was lazy. I really should've taken him, especially sinde Uncle Dean brought all the stuff for it. ooops, maybe next time.
Relaxing under the shade of a palm tree.
The kids did really well together.
Here they are watching Dora or Diego on the DVD player. :) I thought it was so cute.
