Early Easter Hunt

We always try to do an Easter get together with my family the week before Easter.

Here's Ady swinging away.

Adylin and Matthew took turns all day on the swing.

The kids jumped on the trampoline. Here's a picture of a family friend Rachal and Matthew.

Matthew us cruising now and walks EVERYWHERE!!!!

I got a real good shot of my niece Alexis doing a backflip. YOU GO GIRL!!!!!

We did a small egg hunt for the babies first.

Both kids got VERY bored VERY quickly. Ady just screamed that she wanted bubbles, so it didn't last long.

Tanner was very excited to help Matthew.

Here's Matthew trying to go out the doggie door.

Tanner found a ladybug and he was pretty proud of it.

We then did a hunt for the older kids. This year I thought I'd spice it up and give them a treasure hunt of sorts, so they were only supposed to get certain eggs. They didn't like it much. BUT, like every year, we hid too many eggs and I was stuck finding the leftovers.

PLAYING AT GRANDMAS

We went over to my parents house for a few hours on Saturday. The kids loved the Jeep. Tanner was the boss and Ady got shotgun. Matthew LOVED pushing from behind. The only problem....Tanner wasn't used to having Matthew back there, so when he put it in reverse, he nearly ran over the little guy. At least Mom was there to help out.

Eventually my Mom put Matthew on Adylin's lap. She wasn't too thrilled about it, but she sure loves her Matthew.

Ady tried so hard to figure the scooter out, but I think her poor legs are a bit too short.

Matthew had a grand time banging the bug catcher on the cement. I tried to talk to him, but he ignored me completely.

Last but not least..... Tanner took off with out Matthew, so Matthew crawled after him. Tanner didn't realize Matthew was behind, so when he flipped it in reverse we almost had a nasty wreck :) Luckily I got Tanner's attention and Matthew was able to get back to "pushing." It was funny to watch him. When Tanner would stop for a second, Matthew would get this burst of energy and PUSH. I really think he thought he was pushing that car!!!!! Ahhhh, what a goofy little boy.

Loving the sunshine!!!!

The other day I went into the kitchen and Matthew was playing with a wal-mart bag. He was throwing it down and loving the crinkle noise it was making. It was pretty cute. Unfortunately as soon as he saw me he crawled to me with the "pick me up Mommy" look.

This is my favorite picture. I love the look of joy on his face.

As you can see, Tanner got ahold of the camera for another one of his self portraits.

Last but not least, we bought this really cool wagon last year. It sat in the box for a LONG time. With all the lovely weather, I decided to put it together and take the kids for a walk. The cute little cover we bought seperately, it cost $30 but I thought it would be awesome. Guess what?!?! It broke the second I put it on. I was so bummed. Now two ot the four are broken so I'll be taking it back. :( UGH. I'm bummed about it. I was even more bummed when I went to Walmart and found an even cooler (newer version) of this wagon with the cool cover attatched....grrrr!!!!!

Gotta love the weather. We go to the park every day, so if you want to come play, just give us a call.

Not sure if this will work!!!!!! (click on the play at the bottom, not on the picture.)

ONE ALL READY!!!!!!

Where does the time go?!?!? I can't believe that Matthew is all ready one year old.
Before everyone got to the party, Davis tried one more time to see if Matthew would take his first steps. WALA!!! He found a ball to be the incentive and tada! My little boy took his first steps just moments before his birthday party started.

The nacho bar was a big hit for dinner and soon it was time for cake. This is the picture of Matthew just as we started to sing "Happy Birthday." He soon scanned the room and realized EVERYONE was looking at him and "yelling at him" all at the same time.

HIS REACTION!!!!!!! We all laughed it was sooooo funny!

He got his cake and all was better!!!!

MMMMMM!!!!!!
This is GOOD!

Such a cute picture!!!

After cake, Grandma gave him a ball and he was sooo happy he drooled!!!

He wasn't too thrilled opening presents....it was past his bed time.

Soon after the presents were opened, Daddy took Matthew up to bed.

The grand finale.......after all but my in-laws left, Ady was sitting with Davis on the couch watching basketball with the in-laws and she PUKED all over. He finally got in the kitchen as she projectile vomited across the dining/kitchen area. :) What a perfect end to a perfect day. LOL

MORE President's Day

After sledding we went home, warmed up, cleaned the house and then later in the afternoon (around 4) we went to the Aquarium with the Adams Family. Davis and Matthew came with us and it was fun. I spent most of the time running around after Ady. She was sooo excited to look at EVERYTHING.

I only took pictures when we were in the "play" areas. the other areas didn't have enough light, so we were just content having fun and not worrying about pictures.

Such cute friends!!!

Tanner and Whitney get a long so well.

Tanner LOVES octopuses, so he thought it was cool to pet this one.

Tanner helped Whitney pet the octopus too!

CUTE!!!!! I wonder where Whitney was?!?!?!

Tanner also liked petting the stingrays. It was hard, but he finally got a feel.

To wrap it up, we went to dinner at Hires and then rushed home to get to Family Home Evening at the Sweets. It was a great day and sooooo much fun!!!!

PRESIDENTS DAY

I don't want to hear any remarks on how long it's taken me to get these posted. Just be happy it's getting done!! LOL

PRESIDENT'S DAY was so much fun. We woke up to a lovely amount of new snow, so I decided it would be wonderful to take the kids sledding since I bought them a sled this year, yet hadn't taken them. Since Davis had been sick all week and weekend, I called Russ and Amy to see if they wanted to join me in the cold white wonder. They were great sports and Russ was a TON of help.

Tanner LOVED his first time sledding.

Ady was cold but content. LOL
I LOVED Russ and Amy's sled better. I think we'll get a cool one like that next year!!!

Even Olivia was happy to be out in the cold. I thought this picture of Olivia and Amy was ADORABLE. Cute matching jackets and everything.

This is my favorite picture! Russ decided to "race" Tanner but our sled was too small, so it looks like he isn't moving, because he's not really. It was so funny watching him "slowly" meander down the hill.

Yes, that is Russ on the left and Tanner on the right. Can you tell who won?!?!

I even went down with Adylin. YAY for me! I can't even remember the last time I went sledding, I didn't even like doing it when I was a kid. But we didn't have cool sleds like this.

Mental note to self.....Get different shoes next time. It was hilarious watching me try to get back up the mountain...slipping and sliding. Russ had to come rescue the poor kids on the sled because I was useless!! LOL

Just a few more fun pictures. Whitney and Ady went down the hill together most of the time. At one point Whitney tried to pull Ady up the hill. It was so cute and sweet!

THE BABIES!!!!!

Adylin and Matthew......oh they make me laugh!!!! As you can see, Ady's not laughing. This is her....."Help me Mommy!" face. She usually is pretty tolerant of Matthew.
Here's Matthew pulling Ady's hair.
And Matthew uses Ady to stand...walk, etc.
Adylin can climb over the gate.....out of the crib....she's such a climber. There are days Mommy goes nuts trying to keep her out of all the fun things in the house. She's so curious...and such a big help. I just KNOW that most of my dishes are in the trash and not in the sink. :( UGH!

Here's Matthew trying to get the apple.....Ady will NOT share her apple with him. She's usually VERY good about sharing, but not always her food.
More of Matthew, just "bugging her". I'm so glad she's easy going. She really is a sweetheart. She lets him get away with quite a bit. She pats his head if he cries and is always willing to find him a binkie, shove it in his mouth and hopes he stops.

11 Months old....WOW!!!

Matthew is now 11 months old. We'll be celebrating the BIG ONE, the first weekend in March. I can't believe a year has flown by. Matthew sure is a ball of fun! I got this cute onsie at Wal-Mart and he's wearing Tanner's cowboy boots. He thought he was "hot stuff". :) I think he's a pretty adorable child. He has such personality. He loves to tease Tanner and Ady. He's not walking yet, but stands for long periods of time. He holds on to Ady and tries to walk with her. His favorite thing is tackling her and climbing on top. I have some more pictures of the two of them "playing." Matthew says, "Hi Dad!" and Mom is still his favorite. He loves to snuggle and rock (not jsut in the rocking chair, he loves to dance.) He's a food-aholic. This kid will eat EVERYTHING. Davis laughs when he watchs him eat because he takes a two hand/shovel approach. We can't keep his highchair stocked with enough food. :) He also loves his bathtime. He watches everything done by Adylin and Tanner. He's getting big and always so much fun!!!!
